Ethics

NudgEd is fully committed to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines for ethical publishing. If your research involves human participants, ensure that you have obtained Internal Review Board (IRB) approval, full ethical compliance, and informed consent before submission.

Regarding the use of AI in the writing process, our position is straightforward. NudgEd is a pro-AI journal. We welcome the use of large language models and other AI-assisted tools in preparing manuscripts. What we do require is that the author remains the intellectual architect of the work. Acknowledge every AI tool used openly and without reservation. We welcome that transparency wholeheartedly.

AI can assist, but it cannot replace the critical judgment, analytical depth, and originality that only the researcher can provide. Every claim, every interpretation, every reference, and every conclusion should pass through the author's own rigorous evaluation. Analyze all outputs with care. Interrogate the data independently. Ensure that the strongest possible human touch is present throughout the work from beginning to end.

Research originating from human intellect resonates with other humans, and that resonance drives meaningful and lasting contributions to any field.
