Advisory Panel

A Unique Alliance

The future of education is not shaped by academia alone. It is the product of a far more complex interplay of forces, each with its own perspective, influence, and responsibility.

Governments play a defining role in allocating resources, setting priorities, and shaping the policies that determine how education evolves at national and international levels. Businesses, corporations, and industry leaders influence the direction of education through innovation, investment, and the demand for future-ready talent, particularly in expanding access and reach to underserved communities and underdeveloped regions of the world. Non-profit organisations and think tanks generate critical knowledge, challenge assumptions, and advocate for equity and inclusion in ways that neither markets nor governments can alone. Philosophers and ethicists help us interrogate the deeper questions of purpose, meaning, and moral direction as technology reshapes what it means to learn and to teach. International organisations and multilateral bodies bring the global coordination and cross-border perspective that education in the age of AI urgently requires. Technologists and AI developers carry the responsibility of building the tools that are increasingly embedded in how knowledge is created, delivered, and assessed. Student and learner advocates ensure that the voices of those most directly affected by educational transformation are not absent from the conversation. And community leaders and indigenous knowledge holders offer perspectives rooted in local context, cultural heritage, and lived experience that no policy framework or algorithm can replicate.

For this reason, NudgEd has established an advisory panel that reaches deliberately beyond the walls of academia. If we are serious about expanding the vision of scholarly publishing to reflect the full complexity of the educational landscape, then we must bring every relevant voice into the conversation. This alliance is one of our founding commitments: to create a circle of diverse and informed perspectives that guides our mission forward, helps us see all angles of this interplay, and ensures that the journal's outlook remains as forward-looking, inclusive, and balanced as the future it seeks to understand.

Who guides our mission?
